Buddhas need permission to reincarnate!
55During the week I was having a discussion with a close friend of mine. We both have differing opinions about pathes to our own spiritual essence, we have different methods of meditation, different spiritual teachers. Our friendship is still strong regardless of our differences and what transpires is a healthy respect for each other. This association can only bring a greater maturity and tolerance to our own selves.
A healthy tolerance is not shared by all, sadly, and today I was privvy to an article where the Chinese Government is now demanding the Reincarnating Buddha seek permission from the Government before stepping foot on planet Earth.
A14-part regulation was issued by the State Administration for Religious Affairs and it's aim is to limit the influence of Tibet’s exiled god-king, the Dalai Lama, and at preventing the re-incarnation of the 72-year-old monk without approval from Beijing. The Chinese Government is attempting to eliminate the identification of any new living Buddha and of course in the process totally tighten it's hold over Tibet.

For the love of sanity, for the love of all things that are right and righteous, for the love of what is good in all people, what is the best thing that could be done in a situation like this?
Fear festers in fear. The Chinese Government must be drowning in it to be taking these steps.
I take solice in knowing that the Chinese Government does not have judiciary powers in the world of the gods. But they do have power in the land they are governing. If you understand the fight of good and evil, if you understand the presence of lucifer and arhiman then you know that it is the agenda of the darkside to ensure you forget you have a higher essence. And lets say you don't believe in anything mystical and beyond your physical realms, at least you can plainly see that the power of choice is being removed from the dinner table.
Part of the discussion I had with my friend centered around dark forces. My friend believed the dark had left the earth and that the light was getting stronger. I admired my friend's resolve to believe this was the case and respected her viewpoint, yet I couldn't agree with it. Is it my own standpoint that sours my opinion? Using vision and a long tick sheet I can see lots of shadows on our dear planet. Additionally reading this article, the debate that the Light is winning is sadly questionable.

maybe I can clear something up for you... Buddhas do not reincarnate... only tulkus and others who have not yet achieved enlightenment and are still trapped in the cycle of life, death and rebirth are forced to reincarnate...
this is a political move by the Chinese government to try to control Buddhism... and they will fail...
with the coming of ones like the soon to be enlightened boy Ram Bomjon the efforts of the Chinese will be rendered useless... you can read more about Ram here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_Bahadur_Bomjon
but it's important to remember that there are others like him that remain hidden from the public eye, working miracles and steadily pursuing enlightenment...
sure there are dark forces... as there always have been throughout history, but now we are entering an age where wisdom and enlightened thoughts may be shared instantly all across the planet through the internet... so, don't give up hope just yet ;)
Whoa that is too bizarre.
Hello, Jewels. Thank you for touching upon this important. The human rights violations of the people of Tibet on the part of the Chinese government grow exponentially each day. I certainly wish more people were aware of this, especially in light of the upcoming Olympics to take place in China. I love Chinese culture and the Chinese people, but their government, while providing the illusion of growing tolerance, continues to act repressively.
Jewels... by the broadest definition of Buddhism, the one I use often and apply to you... anyone who meditates is Buddhist...
I respect your traditions even if I don't agree with them... however, this Hub being about Buddhism I felt the need to chime in ;)
also, I would recommend you study the Dharma more... since you are already on that path, and much Buddhist thought flows within you, it may benefit you...
Buddhism is a great philosophy. Unfortunately it will be exploited as any other great things to be turned into an intolerant Religion one day to support politics agenda of One World Government which needs One World Religion.

You don't have to know much about the topic to know this is WRONG! Richard Gere has been fighting them for years! This is insane, and without sounding like a doom prophet I agree with you, not just black shadows but sometimes it feels like a huge black hole trying to engulf everything.
